Nurturing tomorrow’s musicians through creativity, inspiration, and community
We offer group piano classes in San Jose for students of all ages and levels.
Our program specializes in recreational music-making and provides a well-rounded music education through the piano.
Our goal is to support lifelong musicianship that brings together a community of both learners and musicians.
“Leah is the best piano teacher I could ever hope to have for my kid. It’s been over a year now and my child still loves to go to piano class and that’s the best feedback. She’s very professional and playful with the kids, never pushy, and she communicated very clearly with them about what to do.”
“Leah is patient and kind, and that is just with me (the parent!). She helped me to find ways to support my perfectionist child (who would never play through a mistake and so kept getting stuck), and is now also guiding me in helping my middle child who is naturally musical but has no desire to practice.”
Group piano classes meet weekly for 50 minutes and are composed of 3-6 students per class.
Groups are formed by similar age and level. Students learn the fundamentals of piano technique and music theory while engaging in a lively, social atmosphere. In addition to playing solo, students learn to play collaboratively as an ensemble.
“A Musical Home for All Ages
Vibrant Music Studio is exactly what its name promises—a lively, welcoming space where music comes alive and community is quietly, powerfully built. Leah has created something truly special here. As a teacher, she blends structure with creativity in a way that inspires both kids and adults to keep showing up, growing, and having fun.
The adult group lessons are a highlight. In just 50 minutes, we move through four thoughtfully designed segments: sight reading (which Leah checks in on personally), a jazz ensemble session that gets everyone grooving, a chance to explore solo improvisation, and private practice time to go deeper. There’s a strong emphasis on rhythm and harmony—but even stronger is the sense of belonging.
Leah somehow makes every student feel seen and supported, no matter their level. She meets you where you are and nudges you forward. The studio doesn’t just teach music—it fosters confidence, connection, and joy.
If you’re looking for more than just lessons—if you want a place to grow musically and be part of something bigger—Vibrant Music Studio is it.”
